3. Hosting

This website is hosted by [host]. When the website is accessed, technically necessary server logs are recorded (IP address, date/time, page accessed, browser type). The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR – legitimate interest in secure and stable operation.

4. Cookies and local storage

This website sets analytics or marketing cookies only with your consent. Without consent, we use:

5. Audience measurement with Google Analytics 4 (consent-based)

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (provider: Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to analyse usage statistically. Processing takes place only with your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) via the cookie banner. Before you consent, the Google Analytics code is not loaded at all – no cookies are set and no data (not even anonymous pings) is sent to Google (Consent Mode v2 in basic mode, default: analytics_storage=denied). With your consent, Google Analytics processes cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) and your truncated IP address (anonymize_ip). You can withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer and confirming “Only necessary”, or by deleting the cookies in your browser. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Meta Pixel (consent-based)

With your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) we load the Meta Pixel (provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland). The pixel records usage events (e.g. page views) to measure reach and evaluate our Facebook and Instagram channels; cookies may be set and data transferred to Meta – including to the USA (based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). Without consent, no Meta code is loaded. You can withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer and confirming “Only necessary”, or by deleting the cookies in your browser. More information: facebook.com/privacy/policy.

7. YouTube embeds (consent-based)

On the session pages of our sound worlds we embed videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) in privacy-enhanced mode via youtube-nocookie.com (including the player library youtube.com/iframe_api). The player is loaded only after you actively click “Load player” or consent in the cookie banner; only then is data (e.g. IP address, device information, possibly cookies) transferred to Google. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). A direct “Watch on YouTube” link is always available as an alternative. Google’s privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.

8. Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your e-mail address and the time of subscription in order to send you updates on new Komorebi sessions and sound worlds. Storage takes place on our own server in Germany; data is not shared with third parties. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time – informally by e-mail to hello@komorebi-studio.de. Your address will then be deleted.

9. External profiles and links

We link to our profiles on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, Spotify and Apple Music as well as to sharing functions (WhatsApp, Telegram, LinkedIn, Pinterest). These are plain links – a connection to the respective provider is only established when you actively click. From then on, the provider’s privacy policy applies.

10. Your rights

You have the right at any time to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Please use the contact details given in section 2.

11. SSL encryption

For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in the address bar of your browser.
